Historia
Dalbergia nigra, or Jacaranda-da-bahia, is a precious tonewood treasured by luthiers and collectors for its beauty; Jacarandá is also the name of a tree native to northern Argentina celebrated in poems and songs for the lilac flowers that shower the streets in spring, creating the sense of being immersed in an impressionist painting.

ダルベルギア・ニグラ──別名ジャカランダ・ダ・バイーア。
その木は、美しい音響特性を持つ希少なトーンウッドとして、ギター職人やコレクターに愛されてきた。
そして「ジャカランダ」は、アルゼンチン北部原産の樹木の名でもあり、春になると街路をライラック色の花びらで満たし、まるで印象派の絵画の中にいるような情景を描き出す。
詩や歌のなかで讃えられてきたこの木は、音と色彩の記憶を讃えた、ラテンの詩的遺産でもある。
